Welcome To My Life

I'm a pretty touchy feely person, and there's no telling what I'll post on these blogs. So you'll just have to read them in order to see.
It'll probably just be my friends and family anyways, so Hi Family and Friends! Thanks for listening to my song. :)

You should sign up and just see how awesome it is, to do so I have given you the sign up page link below. And please if you do put rachelmariegraves in the referred by box. Thanks :)

Twilight Saga

This widely known and read book has been one I have been able to enjoy multiple times. I am starting to read them again the unteenth time and there is not another series I am able to enjoy as many times as I have this series. While I am in content of this book once again I am now in search for another book or series of books that I can read and love so I am open to suggestions, although I do not read or watch horror, so that's out but please please please give me some suggestions that I may expand my reading materials. K Thanks.

Pursuit of Happiness

No, I am not talking about the movie. I am talking about the actual words. The pursuit of happiness. Let us think about this. For the goal to actually reach happiness is for naught. In my opinion, to "pursue happiness" is live life and find the good in everything because there is something good in almost everything. So I guess what I'm saying is that happiness is a byproduct not the goal. If you are living your life to the fullest and you're happy then GREAT, but it's not the goal because if it is your everlasting goal then you maybe not always be satisfied. Well just thought I'd ponder that. comment if you wanna.
Peace!

Books and Paperback Swap

I don't read them as much as I should, but I want to. Currently after watching the The Vampire's Assistant, I have wanted to read the series but there's like 12 of them! I'm like whoa! Come on! A little overboard I think. But there is a site somewhat like amazon called abebooks.com and if you go there you may very well find a book you are searching for at a pretty good rate. Another book site I have recently joined but have not fully participated in yet is paperbackswap.com. My father joined it and has actually enjoyed it. At first I thought, "Aw, Dad got a hobby!" but dad reads any way and this is a way to get books he wants all for the price of shipping. See, you post books on the site and you get credit for posting the books and with those credits you can request a book you want and if it's on the site already the person that posted the book HAS to send it to you free of charge, but so do you. Back to your books that you've posted, you HAVE to send those out to the person who requested it and I think you get credit for that as well. I haven't done it but my dad has and I'll see if it's worth it, for me. :) We'll see but I just thought I would share that with whoever reads this:no one. Well hope you have a great day and I am off to school. BYE!

Workin On My Paper and watching American Idol

Well, it's a Tuesday night here at the Graves house. We're sitting on the couch watching American Idol and I've watched it since the beginning of the season. And this being my first time doing that, it makes the American Idol process longer but maybe more enjoyable, I'm not sure. My favorites guys are Michael "Big Mike" Lynche and Andrew Garcia with a little bit of Casey James. My favorite girls are Krystal Bowersox, Haeley Vaughn, Lacey Brown and Lilly Scott. The criteria of being a favorite can be based on voice, looks, and/or demeanor. Oh and I like Aaron Kelly and Lee Dewyze. I like Lacey cuz she looks like a red-headed pixie and Lee Dewyze because when you say his name it sounds like "lead da wise". I think my favorite girl singer would have to be Haeley Vaughn and Krystal Bowersox. Favorite guy singer is Mike Lynche and it's hard for any of the rest of them to live up to him that I can't think of anyone else that I like as much as him. Sorry fellows. Ok, so yeah not really paying any attention to working on my paper but I got to cuz it's due TOMORROW! So, HELP BEKAH! haha she's my person who proofreads my papers and stuff so I thank God for her. Well American Idol is now over and I am going to procrastinate on FB for a while and then get my paper done!
Peace

Lent

Ugh Ugh Ugh. Lent started yesterday and I still don't know what I want to give up. I could give up sodas because I haven't had any. But I've done that and that wouldn't be too hard to give up. I think I will give up secular songs on my iPod, that will be really hard because my iPod is full of them. So I think I will only listen to Christian songs. This will have to be a conscience effort and really hard to do. So I think I will have to really stock up on Christian music on my iPod cuz I don't have a lot of them. Then are things that I would like to do during Lent. I want to pray and talk daily with God and have a closer relationship with Him. So, that's what I'll give up for Lent. I feel good about this and I think in the long run it will help me greatly and yeah. So Yay! I have something picked out.

I loathe English

As I sit here by my theory professor play the piano, I sit and ponder the meaning of life and love and just being. It's strange, this questions have many answers and some that are so incoherent in thought that one can't even begin to describe what they feel. I'm not sure if that made any sense to you, but it did to me as I am the writer.
I am in a break between my classes. I have a total of 18 hours this semester and I am busy busy just going to them. I haven't had much work to do in any of them yet, but I know someday the work will pile up where I may or may not break down. I hope not. I have a lot of gen ed courses and they are not what I enjoy the most. Truly, Madly, Deeply [haha] I love music and learning about music. It is frustrating because I don't really know much but I'm learning and it is fun, it is a challenge and it makes me happy. I repeat myself when writing so bear with me. I have a history class in a hour [2pm] and then directly after that I have an English class, which I loathe. As I said, I repeat myself when writing and I have bad grammar. It's icky to me, I like literature because of the hidden meanings, but that won't be this class. This class will be all about writing essays and I HATE THAT!, just ask anyone that knows me. So I feel that this is just to get out what I'm thinking. Not so much of a real deep thought or meaning. Just me. Well Dr. Lee has made me some tea and I shall drink it. haha. So I think I shall resign my post for now.
Peace

Oh, Life

So, life is life. haha, that's stupid. Ok, so this past Christmas break I had alot of options and choices to think about. It was very frustrating and yeah just frustrating. I was gonna NOT go back to school this spring semester and then I was and then I wasn't again and now I am. I'm glad that I decided to, I may regret saying those words later but right now I'm glad I decided to stay in school. My schedule is busy busy busy.
Mondays and Wednesdays I have:
Theory II at 9:30-10:50
Class Piano I at 11:00-12:20pm
American History II at 2:00pm-3:20pm
English Composition II at 3:30-4:50pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays
College Math at 12:30pm-1:50
Introduction to Biology I and Lab at 2:00pm-4:25
So I'm on a campus 40 minutes away from home til about 5pm every school day! That's frustrating but I hope it will be good.
Peace
